Craig’s philosophy on life includes consistency, dedication, and community. He loves kickboxing and Jiu JItsu because they allow him to apply his principles of consistency and dedication in a supportive community.
Outside of the gym, Craig’s academic career led him to Portland State University, where he earned a B.S. in 1997 with a focus on genetics. This led to a long and distinguished career at OHSU's Knight Diagnostics Lab, where he has held various roles, including lead technologist in constitutional studies, tissue culture, and Fanconi's anemia, while also focusing on cancer and fluorescent in situ hybridization.
